Flu Vaccine
Annual influenza vaccination can help protect you and the people around you from seasonal flu.
Flu vaccination is recommended annually for most people beginning at 6 months of age.
Skippack Pharmacy offers age-appropriate flu vaccine options based on current availability.
Available for children, adults, and seniors.
Typical out-of-pocket cost:
- Most insurance plans: $0
- If not covered: about $25–$60
If your plan applies a copay, deductible, or other cost-sharing, our pharmacy team will notify you before administration.
COVID-19 Vaccine
Updated COVID-19 vaccines are offered based on current vaccine availability and applicable recommendations.
COVID-19 vaccines have not been released yet for the 2026-2027 season
The vaccine, dose, and timing appropriate for you may depend on your:
- Age
- Previous COVID-19 vaccinations
- Health conditions and risk factors
- Immune status
- Current recommendations

RSV Vaccine
Respiratory syncytial virus, or RSV, can cause serious respiratory illness, particularly in older adults, certain people with increased health risks, and infants.
Current recommendations include RSV vaccination for:
Adults age 75 and older
A single RSV vaccine is recommended for eligible adults who have not previously received one.
Adults age 50–74 at increased risk of severe RSV illness
Certain medical conditions and other risk factors may make RSV vaccination appropriate.
Pregnancy
Pfizer’s Abrysvo may be recommended during 32 through 36 weeks of pregnancy during the recommended seasonal window to help protect an infant from severe RSV disease after birth.
RSV vaccination is not currently an annual vaccine for adults. If you previously received an RSV vaccine, let our team know when scheduling.

If your plan indicates any cost-sharing or non-coverage, our pharmacy team will notify you before administration.
Shingles Vaccine
Shingles is caused by reactivation of the virus that causes chickenpox and can lead to severe pain and long-lasting nerve complications.
Shingrix is given as a two-dose series.
Vaccination is routinely recommended for adults 50 and older and may also be recommended for adults 19 and older who are or will be immunocompromised.
Already had shingles? You may still be recommended to receive Shingrix.

- If not covered: about $180–$220 per dose

Pneumococcal Vaccine
Pneumococcal disease can cause serious infections including pneumonia, meningitis, and bloodstream infections.
Pneumococcal vaccination is routinely recommended for adults 50 and older and for certain younger adults with qualifying medical conditions or risk factors.
Which pneumococcal vaccine you need can depend on your age and which pneumococcal vaccines you have received previously.

Tdap Vaccine
Tdap helps protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis — also known as whooping cough.
Adults who have never received Tdap should generally receive a dose.
After that, adults generally receive either a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years, with additional recommendations applying in certain situations such as wound management.
Tdap is also recommended during every pregnancy, typically during the third trimester, to help protect newborns from pertussis.

MMR — Measles, Mumps & Rubella
MMR vaccination protects against three highly contagious viral diseases: measles, mumps, and rubella.
Adults without evidence of immunity may need one or two doses, depending on their age, vaccination history, occupation, travel plans, and other risk factors.
Two doses are particularly important for certain higher-risk groups, including many international travelers, postsecondary students, and healthcare personnel without evidence of immunity.
Children can also receive MMR through our pediatric and eligible VFC vaccination programs.

Measles Vaccine
Hepatitis A & Hepatitis B Vaccines
Skippack Pharmacy offers vaccination against Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B, including combination vaccination when appropriate.
Hepatitis A
Hepatitis A vaccination may be recommended based on risk factors, certain medical conditions, travel, or other circumstances.
Hepatitis B
Hepatitis B vaccination is routinely recommended for many adults and may also be recommended based on age, health conditions, occupation, lifestyle, or other risk factors.
Combination Hepatitis A + B
Twinrix provides protection against both Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B for eligible adults.
The number and timing of doses depend on the vaccine and schedule being used.

Whenever possible, begin planning your travel vaccines well before your departure date because some vaccines require multiple doses or need time to provide protection.
We will attempt to process your vaccine through insurance; however, if your insurance does not cover the vaccine, we will inform you accordingly. For travel vaccines, please confirm with our staff prior to your visit to ensure we have the vaccine in stock & so you can confirm your cost on insurance or your out of pocket expense.

Skippack Pharmacy offers vaccination options for children, including seasonal flu and COVID vaccines as available, along with school-required vaccines for eligible children through our Vaccines for Children — VFC — program.
Vaccine availability and eligibility depend on the child’s age, insurance status, vaccination history, and program requirements.
For school vaccinations, please confirm which vaccines your child needs with your pediatrician or school nurse before scheduling.
Babies & Toddlers
Certain vaccines may be available for babies and toddlers through specially scheduled vaccination appointments.
Because additional staffing and age-specific procedures may be required, appointments are required for children age 2 and younger.

Insurance & Vaccine Cost
Will My Insurance Cover My Vaccine?
Many routinely recommended vaccines are covered by insurance with little or no out-of-pocket cost when eligibility and plan requirements are met.
Coverage can vary based on:

For adults who have already received an RSV vaccine, an additional annual dose is not currently recommended.
Recommendations may change as additional evidence becomes available.
