Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Mobile Vaccination Clinic Questions:

Who are these vaccination clinics for?

Anyone! We will hold vaccination clinics for businesses, long term care facilities, schools, churches, neighborhoods, at community events, etc! The company has the option to open the vaccination clinic up to family members, other businesses or the community if they choose.

How do I sign up for a vaccination clinic?

Organizations should sign up via the mobile vaccination Jotform listed on our website under the mobile vaccination section.

If you are an individual looking to get vaccinated you can come to Skippack Pharmacy to receive your vaccination!

How are the vaccinations billed?

We will bill insurance. Most prescription insurance plans will cover vaccines such as the flu shot. Most clinics are done at no cost!

Can I still get a vaccine if I don’t have insurance?

Yes! If insurance does not cover the vaccine or the patient is uninsured, we offer the vaccinations for an out of pocket price. The organization has the option to pay for the vaccinations that are not covered or we can charge the individual patient for their vaccine.

*We are partnered with the county and can provide flu and COVID-19 vaccinations for some uninsured.

How long does each clinic last?

Our mobile vaccination clinics are very organized! We come prepared to vaccinate everyone that signs up. The length of the clinic depends on the number of people getting vaccinated.

Do patients need to sign up for a company clinic?

Yes! We highly recommend that the company has everyone who would like to receive a vaccine that day to sign up ahead of time! This will allow us to prepare prior to the vaccination clinic. If someone wants a vaccine and did not sign up, we are happy to vaccinate them as well!

Is there a minimum number of people that need to sign up to receive a vaccination?

We require a minimum of 10 people to sign up in order for us to come to the vaccination clinic. If the minimum is not met, the company can choose to pay out of pocket for the difference and we will still come.

What paperwork is required?

For most clinics, we use a HIPAA-secure, online consent and sign-up form. This form is filled out prior to the clinic. This allows us to obtain each individual’s information. Then we can bill insurance and solve any issues ahead of time. We will provide paper consent forms and gather information from patients who were unable to sign up ahead of time.

What vaccinations do you offer?

Most mobile vaccination clinics are for flu and COVID-19.  We also offer shingles, pneumonia, RSV, and Tdap. We offer a wide range of vaccinations and are happy to bring any additional vaccines if requested.

What COVID-19 vaccines do you offer?

We are currently offering moderna and pfizer COVID-19 vaccines!

Can I get multiple vaccinations at once?

Yes! We can provide vaccinations in different injection sites at the same time. Please note which vaccines you are interested in when signing up!

Who administers the immunizations?

Each clinic is run by immunization-certified members of our team. The number of immunizers that come to the clinic depends on the number of people that signed up for the clinic.

Where should we set up the clinic?

We are able to do the mobile vaccination clinic in most areas. Reach out if you have any specific questions regarding a clinic set up! We request that you provide at least one table, a few chairs, and a trash can. We will bring the rest! We are able to set up outside or do a drive-up clinic, weather permitting.

General Vaccination Questions:

Why get vaccinated?

There are many great reasons to get vaccinated! Vaccinations protect against many serious infections, reduce the spread of diseases, reduce medical costs associated with treating diseases, protect future generations, and most importantly, they are safe and effective. Vaccines are not only beneficial for you, but for your entire community!

Will the vaccine make me sick?

Vaccines are designed to protect you from diseases, not cause them! Vaccines go through testing to ensure that they are safe and effective. The benefits outweigh the risks of side effects.

What side effects are common with vaccinations?

Mild side effects can occur after receiving a vaccination. Some common side effects include soreness at the injection site, muscle aches, fatigue, or mild fever. This is normally a sign that the vaccine is working and the body is building protection. Serious side effects are very rare.

What can I do to reduce symptoms associated with side effects?

You can take over the counter medications such as tylenol and ibuprofen to help with fever, pain, headaches or chills. Make sure to drink plenty of water and rest!

Do I need to get vaccinated if I am healthy?

Yes! Vaccines protect against diseases that can affect anyone, regardless of your health status. Getting vaccinated also helps protect the people that can’t!
